Bel Canto bassoon reeds are designed for the beginner to professional

bassoonist. We don't think in terms of "hard" or "soft", but strive to

create a well-balanced reed that plays easily with a dark,rich tone.

As such, they are appropriate for all levels of players. We offer two

strengths - our regular reed and our premium reed - the same cane,

but offers a bit more resistance for more advanced players. We have

tried to keep our prices as reasonable as possible for hand-made reeds

and I hope you will find $19.95 for our regular reeds and $25.95 for our

premium reeds to be a good value!
